Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre is running a one-off chef dining evening in its Silver Restaurant on 14 November 2026, built around French chef Aymar Gourdet, known online as Le Skinny Chef. The evening is priced at €79 per person and is one of a run of ticketed dinners the centre puts on in the same restaurant through autumn and into December.
The centre’s own listing bills the evening as “Culinary Excellence,” a set dinner built around Gourdet’s cooking rather than the restaurant’s everyday a la carte menu. Newbridge Silverware runs a handful of these chef-led and entertainment dinners in the Silver Restaurant each season, so the format is a fixed multi-course menu served to a full room on the night rather than a casual walk-in meal. At €79 a head it sits above a normal dinner out, in line with the venue’s other ticketed evenings.
Numbers for these dinners are limited by the room, so booking early once tickets go live is worth doing rather than waiting closer to the date. The Silver Restaurant sits inside the wider Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre, so visitors arriving early can take in the silverware showrooms and museum before the meal, and the centre’s shop and gardens are also open in the run-up to dinner if you want to make an afternoon of the visit rather than just turning up for the meal itself.
Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre is on the edge of Newbridge town, just off the M7 at Junction 11, with free customer parking on site. Newbridge railway station, on the Dublin Heuston to Kildare, Portlaoise and Waterford line, is about a 15 minute walk from the centre, and Bus Eireann services into Newbridge stop a short taxi ride away.
