At Gleneagle Arena · Muckross Road, Killarney, Co. Kerry
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
Mike Wozniak brings his new stand-up show The Bench to Gleneagle Arena in Killarney on Friday, 23 October 2026. Wozniak is an English comedian and regular on the UK live circuit, known for a shaggy, storytelling style of stand-up built around long, digressive anecdotes rather than quick-fire one-liners, and this is a single Kerry date on a wider Irish and UK tour.
The Bench is a full-length solo stand-up set, structured as one continuous story rather than a series of unrelated bits, in keeping with Wozniak’s usual approach. Expect a relaxed, conversational stage manner and material that rewards patience, building slowly to its payoffs rather than front-loading the biggest laughs. The show runs at Gleneagle Arena, the large purpose-built venue attached to the Gleneagle Hotel on Muckross Road, which regularly hosts touring comedy, concerts and shows alongside the hotel’s own entertainment programme. It is a seated theatre-style comedy show rather than a club night, so expect an evening built around one act rather than a bill of several.
Gleneagle Arena is on Muckross Road (the N71), less than a kilometre south of Killarney town centre, beside the Gleneagle and Brehon hotels. Killarney’s rail and bus station has direct services from Cork, Dublin Heuston and Tralee, and the arena is a short taxi ride or a 15-minute walk from the station. Free onsite parking is available.
A night at the arena pairs easily with a day in Killarney National Park or a stroll around the lakes beforehand. There is more to see in Killarney and across Co. Kerry.
