At Wave Dingle Theatre · The Wood, Dingle, Co. Kerry

Cornelius Patrick O’Sullivan brings his stand-up show Pull Hard to Wave Dingle Theatre on Friday, 23 October 2026. The award-winning comedian has already sold out a run of this show at Cork Opera House, and the Dingle date is a later stop on the same national tour, this time in a proper theatre setting rather than a pub venue.
Pull Hard runs about two hours and is built around fatherhood, middle age and what O’Sullivan describes as the lingering disappointment of lost opportunity, working through parenting, GAA matches and failed diets for laughs. Wave Dingle Theatre gives the show a seated, purpose-built room rather than a bar backdrop, so expect a more theatrical presentation than a typical club gig, with the audience settled in for a single headline set rather than a multi-act bill. It suits anyone who enjoys character-driven, self-deprecating stand-up over topical material, and the tour has drawn strong reviews on its earlier dates. This is the second Kerry date on the same tour, following an earlier pub show in Kilflynn near Tralee in September, and the Dingle date gives the same material a proper theatre setting with dedicated seating rather than a bar-room crowd.
Wave Dingle Theatre is on The Wood, close to Dingle town centre and an easy walk from the harbour and the main street.
An October evening at the theatre pairs well with dinner in Dingle beforehand, with the town’s restaurants and pubs all within a short walk. There is more to see in Dingle and across Co. Kerry.
