What to Expect

Jarlath Regan plays two nights at the Moat Theatre on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 October 2026 with Gas Man, a new stand-up hour. The show is ninety minutes of observational material and storytelling, all of it previously unreleased.

Regan built his following through viral short-form video and the An Irishman Abroad podcast, and has since taken a sold-out tour across North America, the UK, Canada and Australia. Critics quoted by the venue have called the show universally enjoyable, praised its jaw-achingly funny anecdotes and described him as an expert storyteller with observational wit that is subtle yet sublime. Both Naas dates were listed as sold out when last checked, with a waitlist open through the theatre’s booking system. Returns do come back into circulation for shows at this venue, so joining the waitlist is worth doing if you missed the on-sale. Tickets were €32 plus a booking fee.

Getting There

Naas is off the M7, roughly 35 km south-west of Dublin, and signposted from the motorway junctions. The Moat Theatre is on Abbey Road, a short walk from the main street, with town centre car parks nearby. Regular buses run between Dublin city centre and Naas, with Friday evening service more frequent than midweek. Sallins and Naas railway station on the Dublin Heuston commuter line is about 4 km from the theatre, with taxis generally available.
