At Gorey Little Theatre · Gorey Little Theatre, Gorey, Co. Wexford
It’s The Real McCoy is Gorey Little Theatre’s summer 2026 production, directed by Paul Walsh. The run opened in late July and continues through August, playing on selected Tuesdays and Thursdays rather than in a single block week. Remaining August performances fall on the 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th, each starting at 8:00 PM.
Gorey Little Theatre is a small, long-established venue in north Wexford that programmes its own productions alongside touring tribute shows and music nights. Summer shows here are pitched at holiday audiences as much as locals, which is why the run is spread across several weeks rather than compressed. With a €15 ticket plus booking fee, it is the cheapest theatre seat of the season in the county, and the intimate room means there are no bad sightlines. Booking ahead is sensible for the later dates, which tend to sell before the earlier ones.
Gorey sits on the northern edge of County Wexford, just off the M11 between Dublin and Wexford town, with junctions signposted for Gorey from both directions. The town is about an hour and fifteen minutes from Dublin by road. Gorey railway station is on the Dublin Connolly to Rosslare Europort line and is within walking distance of the town centre, and Bus Eireann and Wexford Bus services stop in the town. There is on-street and car park parking around the centre, free in most places after 6:00 PM.
