The Bee Gees Story at Town Hall Theatre

At Town Hall Theatre · Courthouse Square, Galway City, Co. Galway

A tribute band in white suits performing under stage lights in Galway

What to Expect

Nights on Broadway work through the whole Bee Gees catalogue rather than just the disco years, starting in the sixties and running to the nineties, with the Saturday Night Fever material given the weight the audience expects. The set is built in blocks: early harmony singles, an acoustic medley in the middle, then the dance-floor run at the end. A full international live band backs the vocalists.

The show lasts 120 minutes and is a seated main-stage night at the Town Hall rather than a standing gig, which suits a catalogue that swings between close three-part ballads and full-tilt dance numbers. Tickets are €30 and the curtain is at 8pm on the Saturday. It is one of three tribute nights on the Town Hall’s early October calendar, alongside the country show Made In Tennessee a few days later.
