What to Expect

Katzye The Tribute Experience takes the Leisureland stage in Salthill on Friday 30 October 2026 at 7:30 PM. Leisureland’s events centre is a 1,010-seat theatre, rising to 1,200 standing, which makes it the largest indoor concert room in Galway city outside the university venues, and it is the room that hosts Christy Moore, Tommy Tiernan and the big touring tribute shows through the autumn.

The Friday of Halloween weekend is one of the busiest nights in the Galway calendar, so a seated show out in Salthill offers an alternative to the city-centre crowds. Leisureland lists this date on its own events page, which is the source used here. The venue does not publish ticket prices on the listing itself and directs people into each individual event page for booking, so check before travelling. The autumn programme at Leisureland also takes in Dara O Briain on 22 October and Emma Doran on 25 October, with an 80s Icons Show following on 20 November.

Getting There

Leisureland is on the Salthill seafront road, about 3 km west of Galway city centre and reached along the R336 from the Claddagh. There is a large car park on site, which is a real advantage on Halloween weekend when city-centre parking is at a premium. Galway city bus routes serving Salthill run along the promenade and stop close to the complex, and the walk along the prom from the Claddagh takes around thirty minutes if the weather holds.
