At Monroe's Live · Dominick Street Upper, Galway, Co. Galway
Harry Hudson Taylor plays Monroe’s Live on Friday 23 October 2026, with doors at 7:00 PM. The early door puts the main set in the first half of the evening, and Monroe’s has a second show scheduled in the building at 9:00 PM the same night, so the room turns over between the two.
Monroe’s Live is the purpose-built gig room attached to Monroe’s Tavern on Dominick Street Upper in the West End of Galway city. It is a standing venue with a raised stage, house PA and bar service to the side, and it holds a few hundred people. The show falls the weekend before Monroe’s Halloween run, which takes in a Metallica tribute all-ages matinee and a Daft Punk experience across the following two nights. The date and door time here come from the venue’s own published gig calendar, which does not list a ticket price for this show.
Monroe’s is on Dominick Street Upper in Galway’s West End, about ten minutes on foot from Eyre Square via the Wolfe Tone Bridge. Drivers coming in on the N6 should use the Fairgreen or Jury’s Inn multi-storey car parks and walk across, as on-street parking near Dominick Street is limited on a Friday evening. City bus routes serving Fr Griffin Road and Dominick Street stop close to the venue, and Galway Ceannt railway and bus station is roughly a fifteen-minute walk away.
