At Monroe's Live · Dominick Street Upper, Galway, Co. Galway
Eamonn’s Vision play Monroe’s Live on Friday 30 October 2026, with doors at 9:00 PM. It is the late show of two in the building that night, following the Daoiri Farrell concert at 7:00 PM, and it falls on the Friday of Halloween weekend when the West End is at its busiest.
Monroe’s Live is the standing gig room attached to Monroe’s Tavern on Dominick Street Upper. The stage is raised, the PA is house-supplied and bar service runs along the side wall, and a late Friday door on a bank holiday weekend means the room stays open well past midnight. Monroe’s stacks its Halloween programme across several days, with the Metallica tribute matinee and Daft Punk experience having landed the previous weekend. The date and door time here are taken from the venue’s own published gig calendar, which does not list a ticket price for this show.
Monroe’s is on Dominick Street Upper in Galway’s West End, about a ten-minute walk from Eyre Square by way of the Wolfe Tone Bridge. Drivers should use the Fairgreen or Jury’s Inn multi-storey car parks rather than searching for on-street spaces, which are effectively gone in the West End on a bank holiday Friday night. City bus routes on Fr Griffin Road and Dominick Street stop close to the door, and taxi ranks at Bridge Street and Eyre Square operate through the night.
