Hand in Hand 20th Anniversary Gala

At Galway Bay Hotel · Salthill Road Lower, Galway, Co. Galway, H91 W295

Tables set for a black-tie charity gala dinner at a Galway hotel

What to Expect

Hand in Hand is a Galway-based charity that supports families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer, providing practical help such as home cleaning, childcare, meals and transport to and from treatment. Twenty years on from its founding, it marks the anniversary with a black-tie gala at the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill on Friday 25 September 2026, starting at 7:00 PM.

Miriam O’Callaghan hosts the evening, and the Bentley Boys provide the live music. The format is a dinner followed by entertainment, which puts it in the same bracket as the corporate table events that anchor the Irish charity calendar in autumn, though Hand in Hand’s supporter base is heavily made up of families who have used the service and the volunteers who deliver it. Proceeds go straight back into the charity’s family support work across Ireland. Tickets are handled through Eventbrite and refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
