The Foundry Nightclub on Tullow Street opens for the October bank holiday Sunday on 25 October 2026 from 11:00pm, in addition to its regular Friday and Saturday nights.
The Foundry is one of Carlow’s main nightclubs, part of the Dinn Ri complex on Tullow Street, with four bars connected to the Bamboo Bar, the VIP Bar and its live venue The Tower. Alongside its usual Friday and Saturday nights, the club opens on bank holiday Sundays, giving the October long weekend an extra night out. The club’s own listing describes its music policy as covering the best in commercial sound, and October’s bank holiday Monday falls on 26 October 2026, which is what makes the preceding Sunday night a bank holiday opening rather than a normal Sunday closure. Bank holiday Sunday nights tend to draw a bigger crowd than a typical weeknight, since many people have the Monday off and treat the Sunday as a third night of the weekend rather than a wind-down before work.
