Getting There

Slavin lies in the far west of County Fermanagh, in the corner of the county that runs out towards Belleek, Garrison and Lough Melvin. Drivers coming from Enniskillen take the A46 along the southern shore of Lower Lough Erne towards Belleek, then turn onto the local roads inland. Coming from the Sligo or Leitrim side, the approach is through Kiltyclogher and Garrison. There is parking at the church itself.

Evening public transport in this part of Fermanagh is very limited and there is no practical bus back after a 7.30pm start, so driving or sharing a lift is the realistic option. A torch is worth having for an unlit country churchyard in the middle of September.
