At The Workman's Club · 10 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2

Throwback Events brings its No Scrubs night to The Workman’s Club on 17 October, a full set of 90s and 00s R&B running through the club’s Temple Bar venue. It is one of a regular series of decade-themed nights the promoters run at the venue, this one built entirely around the R&B side of the era rather than a broader pop mix.
Doors open at 11.30pm for a DJ-led set working through 90s and 00s R&B classics, pitched at anyone who wants a full night of that era’s sound rather than a scattering of throwback tracks mixed into a general chart set. As with the promoter’s other nights at the venue, expect a busy room and a late finish rather than an early wind-down.
The Workman’s Club sits on Wellington Quay, right on the edge of Temple Bar. The Luas Red Line stop at Jervis, across the river, is a short walk over the Ha’penny Bridge, and Tara Street DART station is also within easy reach on foot. Numerous Dublin Bus routes run along the quays and through the city centre nearby. Street parking in Temple Bar is limited on a Saturday night, with car parks on Fishamble Street and around Christ Church a more realistic option for anyone driving.
Temple Bar’s bars and restaurants make it easy to build a full evening around the night out, with plenty of food options within a couple of minutes’ walk of the venue before doors open. There is more to see in Co. Dublin.
