At Peacocks Bar & Lounge · River Valley, Swords, Co. Dublin
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
Peacocks Bar & Lounge in Swords hosts comedian Jarlath Regan across two nights, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2026, for “Under Construction”, a work-in-progress stand-up show, with doors from 8:00pm.
Jarlath Regan is a Dublin stand-up and podcaster, best known for the long-running Irishman Abroad podcast alongside his club and touring stand-up work. A “work-in-progress” show means new material still being shaped ahead of a fuller tour, so expect a looser, closer-to-the-audience set than a polished special, often at a friendlier ticket price than a full theatre show. The venue lists the two nights separately, each with 8:00pm doors, and they close out an autumn comedy and music programme at Peacocks that also takes in Andrew Maxwell and Reginald D Hunter in September and a run of tribute nights through October and November. Peacocks runs its comedy nights in a bar setting, with a table-and-standing-room crowd close to the stage, the bar open through the night, and food served earlier in the evening.
Peacocks is in River Valley, a short distance from Swords town centre, and is reachable on Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland routes that serve the wider Swords area; there is no direct DART or Luas line into Swords. Dublin Airport is close by if travelling from further afield, and there is on-street parking near the venue.
Swords is Fingal’s county town, built up around the medieval Swords Castle and North Street’s older shopfronts, with a busy town centre a short trip from River Valley that includes The Pavilions shopping centre and a good spread of restaurants for an early bite before the show. There is more to see in Swords and across Co. Dublin.
