Donegal LGFA junior A championship ladies football match

What to Expect

Junior A is the entry grade of the Donegal ladies club championship and the competition where the county’s smaller and newer teams find their level. Nine clubs are involved in 2026: Cill Chartha, Four Masters, St Michael’s, Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin, Malin, Naomh Mhuire Conmhaigh, Glenswilly, Sean Mac Cumhaill and Urris. The group series runs over five Sunday mornings from 9 August to 6 September, with almost every game throwing in at 10:30 AM.

Round 1 on Sunday 9 August had Cill Chartha at home to Four Masters, St Michael’s hosting Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin in Dunfanaghy and Malin taking on Naomh Mhuire Conmhaigh at Connolly Park. Two of the round 2 ties, Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin against Four Masters and Cill Chartha against Malin, have been listed as postponed, which leaves two games standing on 16 August plus an out-of-sequence round 4 fixture under lights the following Friday.
