At Multiple club grounds · Various locations across County Donegal
The U16 All-County Cup is the knockout end of Donegal’s underage club season, run across four divisions so that clubs of every size get competitive football at the right level. The league phase and its semi-finals and finals were completed between 3 and 10 August, and the Cup takes over from there. A full programme of twenty games is fixed for Monday 17 August 2026, every one of them throwing in at 7:00 PM, with three clubs drawing a bye.
Underage county games in Donegal are free to attend and are largely watched by parents, grandparents and club members, which gives them a very different feel from a senior championship Sunday. Division 1 has the strongest sides, including St Eunan’s, Glenswilly, Moville and Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin. Divisions 2, 3 and 4 spread across Inishowen, the Rosses, the south west and the Finn Valley, and several clubs field teams in more than one division.
The grounds are scattered the length of the county, so pick the fixture closest to you. Moville and Carndonagh are on the R238 in Inishowen, Glenswilly and Naomh Colmcille are within 20 minutes of Letterkenny on the N56 and N13, and the Rosses and south-west grounds at Dungloe, Killybegs and Ardara sit along the N56. The Davy Brennan Memorial Park is in Glenties on the N56. All of these pitches have free parking, and none of them is served by a useful evening bus, so drive.
