At Moat Theatre · Abbey Road, Naas, Co. Kildare
Dominic Kirwan plays the Moat Theatre on Sunday 1 November 2026. The Omagh singer has been touring for decades and the evening is billed as a mix of music, memories and entertainment, working through country classics, Irish favourites and gospel-inflected material.
Kirwan’s shows lean on the between-song talk as much as the singing, which is part of why he has held an audience across so many years of touring Ireland and Britain. The Moat’s auditorium seats a few hundred, so the room is small enough for that conversational style to land. This date opens the theatre’s November music run, which continues with Naas Musical Society’s Sounds of the 70s from 3 to 5 November, Fleetwood Shack on 6 November and the Muddy River Band on 7 November. Tickets are €30 plus a booking fee, sold through the theatre’s Ticketsolve system, and the show runs from 8:00 PM to around 10:00 PM.
Naas is off the M7, roughly 35 km south-west of Dublin, and signposted from the motorway junctions. The Moat Theatre is on Abbey Road, a few minutes from the main street on foot, with town centre car parks close by. Buses run between Dublin city centre and Naas, but Sunday evening service is reduced, so confirm return times before travelling. Sallins and Naas railway station on the Dublin Heuston commuter line is about 4 km from the theatre.
