Community Advocates for Women's Workplace Wellness - Monaghan

At Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Club · Coolshannagh, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, H18 Y220

Training room set up with tables for a daytime workshop

What to Expect

This is a certification programme for women working in local businesses and community organisations who want to be the person in their workplace who understands women’s health and can speak up about it. It runs at the Four Seasons Hotel in Monaghan on Wednesday 9 September 2026, with registration from 9.30am and the session itself from 10am to 4pm. It is fully funded for eligible participants, so there is no fee.

The day is the first of two parts. Part one is the six-hour in-person session in Monaghan, covering women’s health across the life course and how it affects work, wellbeing and productivity, plus how to advocate for practical changes rather than just raise awareness. Part two is a 60-minute online follow-up taken later at a time that suits the participant. Completing both earns CPD points, a certificate and a digital badge that can be used on LinkedIn or in an email signature. The format is interactive rather than lecture-style, and part of the stated value is the network of other participants from across the border region. The programme is delivered by Enterprise Evolution with the Northern Ireland Rural Women’s Network, supported by the PEACEPLUS Change Maker funding programme.
