At Pot Duggan's · New Road, Ennistymon, Co. Clare
Smithereens bring their 2026 Shapeshift Tour to Pot Duggan’s in Ennistymon on Saturday 3 October 2026, their first time playing the town. Doors and the running order put the show at 9pm, with the night listed as running two and a half hours to around 11:30pm. Support comes from Waveflyer.
Pot Duggan’s sits on the New Road in Ennistymon and has become one of the more reliable rooms in North Clare for touring original acts, sitting alongside the town’s older trad pubs rather than competing with them. It is a small venue, which suits a band on a club tour: there is no bad spot in the room and the crowd is close to the stage. The same venue runs a wider gig programme through the autumn, including Paahto & The Bull later in the month.
Tickets are sold through Eventbrite and the organisers list refunds as available up to seven days before the event. Because capacity is limited, buying ahead rather than turning up on the night is the safer approach for a Saturday.
Ennistymon is on the N85 in North Clare, about 25 km north-west of Ennis and 3 km inland from Lahinch. Pot Duggan’s is on the New Road, a short walk from the top of Main Street and the Falls Hotel entrance. There is on-street parking through the town and a public car park near the bridge over the Inagh River. Bus Eireann route 350 links Ennis, Ennistymon, Lahinch, Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher, and route 333 also serves the town, but late-evening services are thin, so most people drive. Lahinch is the nearest base for accommodation if you want to walk home.
