The Bath Street Boys Live at Cnoc na Gaoithe, Tulla

At Cnoc na Gaoithe · Violethill, Lissane, Tulla, Co. Clare

Traditional Irish quartet performing on stage with accordion and fiddle

What to Expect

The Bath Street Boys play Cnoc na Gaoithe in Tulla on Friday 16 October 2026, an 8pm start with the concert listed as running two hours. The line-up is Oran Kelly on button accordion, Marty Barry on guitar and vocals, Oisin Duffy on fiddle and Aidan Quigney on keyboard. The group is described as an emerging force in Irish traditional music, drawing on different regional styles and playing them with a straightforward, lively energy rather than a heavily arranged concert-hall approach.

Cnoc na Gaoithe is the Tulla Comhaltas cultural centre at Violethill, Lissane, just outside the village, a purpose-built home for traditional music, song, dance and the Irish language in East Clare. It is the right room for this kind of bill: East Clare has its own distinctive playing style, and Tulla has been a centre of it since the Tulla Ceili Band formed in 1946. The venue runs classes and concerts through the year rather than functioning as a pub session venue.

Children under 16 are welcome with a parent or guardian. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, with refunds available up to seven days before the show.

Getting There

Tulla is in East Clare on the R462, about 18 km north-east of Ennis and roughly 35 km from Limerick city. Cnoc na Gaoithe is at Violethill, Lissane, on the edge of the village, with parking at the centre. There is no useful evening bus service to Tulla, so this is a drive: from Ennis take the R352 and R462, and from Limerick head for Sixmilebridge and Kilkishen. Ennis, on the M18 and the Limerick rail line, is the nearest town for accommodation and the closest public transport hub.
