Aoife Dunne: Good Grief (Sold Out)

At glor Irish Music Centre · Causeway Link, Ennis, Co. Clare

Comedian mid-performance on a theatre stage

What to Expect

Good Grief is Aoife Dunne’s debut solo show, and the Ennis date is part of an extended 2026 run that followed a completely sold-out tour in 2025. The show is built from stand-up, theatrical storytelling and passages that sit closer to memoir, and it works through loss and the odd, often funny ways people carry themselves through it. Dunne moves between straight jokes and quieter stretches, so the hour swings in tone rather than holding a single register, and reviewers have picked out that shift as the reason the show lands. It has drawn four-star reviews, with the comedy site Chortle among those praising it.

The Ennis performance is listed as sold out by glor, which means tickets are no longer on general sale through the box office. Returns do occasionally come back into the system when ticket holders cannot travel, so it is worth ringing the box office on the day or checking the online listing rather than assuming there is nothing left. The show is seated and takes place in the evening, and the run has continued across Irish venues through 2026, so anyone who misses the Ennis night may find another date within reach.
