At Multiple community venues across County Carlow · Various, Co. Carlow
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
Carlow Beo! is a county-wide live performances programme run by Carlow County Council Arts Office, with events taking place between April and November 2026 in towns, villages and community venues across County Carlow.
Carlow County Council’s own consultation page for the fund describes it as launching in February 2026, with events running April to November. Supported art forms include live music and song, performance, comedy, theatre, street arts, spectacle and dance, and outdoor performances are especially encouraged, ranging from solo acoustic sets to full amplified concerts. Funding for individual events runs between €500 and €5,000, awarded to professional performers and producers based in County Carlow, and to County Carlow cultural organisations, community centres and venues that host them. All funded events must be free of charge or carry only a nominal charge. Because the programme is built from many separately funded, separately venued events rather than one central festival, what is on varies week to week and place to place across the county.
Events take place at venues throughout County Carlow towns and villages; specific dates and locations are announced individually rather than fixed in advance. Because applicants must be based in or hosting in County Carlow, the programme is designed to bring performances to places that might not otherwise get a touring show, rather than concentrating everything in Carlow Town.
Since Carlow Beo! events are spread across the whole county, check listings for towns you already plan to visit rather than travelling for the programme alone. There is more to see in Carlow Town and across Co. Carlow.
