The Festive Artisan Market fills Armagh city centre and The Mall from Friday, 27 November to Sunday, 29 November 2026, part of the Armagh Georgian Festival weekend. It is free to attend.
Friday evening opens quietly, with a smaller run of stalls on Market Street. Saturday is the market’s biggest day and the festival’s Georgian Day: more than 100 stalls spread across the city centre from 11am to 8pm and along The Mall from 11am to 7pm, selling crafts, seasonal gifts, beauty products and artisan food and drink. Georgian-costumed performers, live bands and street entertainment run through the day, and a dedicated hot food area is set up for anyone stopping to eat. On Sunday the market returns to Market Street from noon to 5pm, with artisan stalls alongside Santa’s Grotto for children.
The market runs across Armagh City Centre and The Mall, Armagh, County Armagh. The city is well signposted from the A3 and A28, and the stalls are within walking distance of the main city-centre car parks.
Armagh’s Georgian streets are Archbishop Robinson’s doing: he arrived in 1765 determined to remodel the city on Bath, laying out the Mall’s Georgian terraces, planting its lime trees and building the library and observatory that still stand. A walk past the courthouse and county museum on the Mall, or up to either of the two St Patrick’s Cathedrals facing each other from their hills, makes a natural add-on to a morning at the market.
