Comedian, podcaster and TV personality Fin Taylor brings his stand-up tour, the Pre-emptive Comeback Special, to Ulster Hall in Belfast on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, at 7:00pm.
Taylor has built his profile through stand-up specials, panel show appearances including Live At The Apollo and Have I Got News For You, and his own podcast work, among it “Fin vs History” and the interview series “Fin vs the Internet.” His material is sharp and opinionated, leaning into current cultural and political flashpoints as readily as personal stories. The Pre-emptive Comeback Special is his latest full-length touring hour, part of a wider UK and Ireland run, and continues the blunt, fast-paced style that has made him a regular on the comedy club and festival circuit. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
Ulster Hall is on Bedford Street in Belfast city centre, a short walk from Donegall Square and City Hall, and well served by Metro and Glider bus routes. Great Victoria Street rail and bus station is a few minutes’ walk away, with several multi-storey car parks within easy reach of the venue.
Ulster Hall has been a Belfast concert venue since 1862, in the heart of a compact city centre packed with bars and restaurants around Donegall Square and the Cathedral Quarter, so it is easy to make a full evening of a visit. There is more to see in Belfast and across Co. Antrim.
