Adult Art Classes with Suzanne Gaughan at Wexford Arts Centre

What to Expect

Suzanne Gaughan’s adult art classes return to Wexford Arts Centre on Saturday 5 September, with two watercolour sessions running back to back. The Beginners’ Watercolour Class takes the 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM slot and is aimed at people starting from scratch with the medium. A second Watercolour Class follows from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM for those already working in watercolour. Each runs two hours.

Alongside the watercolour work, Gaughan runs a Drawing Class once a month from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with dates confirmed closer to the time. These are ongoing adult classes rather than one-off taster sessions, so places are held by deposit rather than by casual booking. Getting There

Wexford Arts Centre sits in the Cornmarket in the pedestrian centre of Wexford town, a couple of minutes up from the quay front and Main Street. Drive in on the N11 from Dublin and Gorey or the N25 from New Ross and Rosslare Europort. Wexford O’Hanrahan railway station, on the Dublin Connolly to Rosslare Europort line, is about ten minutes’ walk. Saturday daytime parking in the town centre fills quickly, so the quay front car parks are usually the more reliable option.
